Father: My dear sons it’s time to devide my things. You, as my oldest son, will get a windmill. You will have a donkey and for you I’ve got this cat.
Son 1: Oh, thank you father. You are very generous.
Son 2: Oh, thank you father. You are very generous.
Mark: (dissatisfied) They are lucky…. Thanks to the windmill and the donkey they can earn money. And me? I’ve only got a cat. I will starve.
Cat: Don’t worry Mark. I’m very clever. I promise you will soon be rich and happy. Give me boots, a hat and a big sack. Trust me.
[Cat goes for rabbits]
Cat: (to rabbits) Here you are. I will catch you. [He puts some carrots to the sack. After some minutes….] I got you. Now I’m taking you to a king.
[Cat goes to the castle]
Cat: Your Highness! Prince Mark wants to give you this rabbits as a small gift.
King: Oh, thank your Lord.
[When Cat goes back he heards two servants]
Servant 1: Tomorrow our king and the princess are going for a walk along the river.
Servant 2: Really? We are going as well.
[Next day by the river]
Cat: I’ve got an idea how to change your life but you have to do something.
Mark: Ok. What should I do?
Cat: Take off your clothes and swim in the river.
[Mark swims in the river and pretends that he is drowning]
Cat: (shouts) Help, help! My Lord is drowning!
Princess: Oh, now!
King: Servants help him! Quickly!
[After saving Mark]
Cat: Thank you Your Highness! My Lord was stolen. He even lost his clothes.
Princess: (to her father) Poor he.
King: (to one of the servants) Go and bring him the best clothes we’ve got.
[Mark puts on clothes]
Mark: Thank you very much. You saved me.
Princess: Would you like to join us?
Mark: With great pleasure.
[They are walking and in the meantime Cat is going to the farmers]
Cat: (to farmers) You have to say that these fields belong to Prince Mark. Remember!
[When King appeares farmers bows down]
King: Whose are all these fields?
Farmers: They belong to Prince Mark!
King: Hmmm….you’ve got a great fortune.
Mark: Thank you.
[When they walk and talk Cat goes quickly to a Wizard’s castle]
Cat: (to Wizard) Your Majesty! I’ve heard you can change yourself into any animal. Is that true?
Wizard: (laughs loudly) Of course.
Cat: Even into a mouse?
Wizard: Look.
[Wizard changes himself into the mouse]
Cat: Now I got you! [He eats the mouse] Yummy!
[King, Princess, Prince and Servants are coming]
Cat: Your Highness. Welcome to Prince Mark’s castle.
Princess: How beautiful it is.
King: Yes it’s impressive.
Mark: Have a sit and make yourself at home.
[They sit at the table with food]
King: (to Mark) Have you got any wishes?
Mark: Yes. Can I merry your daughter?
King: (looks at Princess) Only if she wants to.
[Mark kneels down]
Mark: Will you merry me?
Princess: Oh, yes.
[Mark kisses her hand]
Cat: Cheers!
[They drink juice]
Cat: (to audience) And we lived hapilly ever after.

- widownia zamyka oczy i zgaduje jaka postać zniknęła
