DESCRIPTION The etwinning project is directed at primary school students aged 10 -11 to promote active ways of learning. Based on cooperative work between the schools, we would like to familiarize pupils with different cultures and enhance their understanding, make new friends and most importantly, create an interesting learning environment. Like this they will be aware of their European identity.

AIMS
• To develop language skills.
• To teach English in an appealing way.
• To broaden minds due to online cooperation between the schools
• To understand their own background.
• To become familiar and attracted with other European cultures and enhance the understanding and knowledge of them.
• To encourage pupils to learn to know and respect each other.
• To enhance ICT activities to communicate effectively
• To use foreign language outside the classroom.
• To share personal passions and opinions.
TOOLS TO BE USED emails, chat, maps, camera, mobile phone, video recorder, drawings, photos.


WORK PROCESS The process will start getting to know the new friends through the information will get from one another (names, age, hobbies…). We’ll do it through emails, photos, drawings… The second step will be the knowledge of the schools and all the things related to it (subjects, timetable, facilities of each school…). Finally, we’ll get to know the city and the country of our new friends.
