The Empire State Building - lesson plan

Aim: By the end of the lesson students will be better able to talk, write and understand texts about big cities, about monuments and buildings, about symbols of countries. They will know more about the USA and New York.

Language items: Present perfect and past simple - talking about experiences.

Lexical items: Vocabulary connented with city - names of places, buildings, parts of city, styles, proper nouns.

Materials:
Sheets of paper with the text 'The Empire State building' and exercises.

Personal aims:
Students will be better able to talk about their experiences and to express their opinions.
